Europa is the second Galilean moon. It completes an orbit in 3.6 days.
These images show the trailing hemisphere of the ice-covered satellite.
On the left, Europa appears in approximate natural color.
On the right, a false-color composite version created by combining violet, green and infrared images,
has been produced to enhance color differences in the predominantly water-ice crust of Europa.
