To discover details about the early universe, the Hubble Space Telescope and other space and ground based observatories have been closely examining an area of sky in the Constellation Fornax. The Hubble Ultra Deep Field is the latest of a series of surveys to examinine the region. It follows on from the GOODS and GEMS surveys.
