Our Place in The Universe

In a Froth of Galaxies
On the Outskirts of a Supercluster
In the Local Group
Embedded in the Milky Way's Disk
On the Inner Edge of the Local Arm
On the third Planet out from the Sun

The Sun is one of the stars in the Local (or Orion) arm. Between us and the centre of the galaxy is the Sagittarius arm. The Perseus arm flanks us on the other side.
